A session is one item on the Schedule — like a talk or a working session. When you edit a session you can add a description, links, documents, and a list of related sessions.
Nothing is saved until you click Save. Clicking Cancel throws your changes away — so save before you leave the page.
Open a session for editing
Top ↑- Go to Schedule in the menu.
- Click the session you want to change. This opens the session page.
- Click the Edit button. The Edit session form opens.
To leave without changing anything, click ← Back to Schedule at the top.
Description
Top ↑This is the main text about the session. Type what the session is about.
The Description box supports Markdown — a simple way to format text:
| Type this | You’ll get |
|---|---|
**bold** | bold |
*italic* | italic |
| Lists and headings work too. | |
Don’t want any formatting? Just type normal text. That works too.
Feedback URL
Top ↑This is a link to the form where people leave feedback for this session. Paste the full web address, starting with https://.
Leave this box empty to use the default feedback form.
If you see the message That doesn’t look like a URL, check that your link starts with https:// and has no spaces.
Session Feedback
Top ↑At each session, a Session Feedback link is shown at the bottom of the screen. Attendees can tap or click it at any time to share their thoughts on the session they just attended. The form takes less than a minute to complete.
Default questions
The first four questions are rated on a scale of 1 to 5. The last question is an open text box for any constructive feedback.
- Session was valuable overall 1–5
- Content was relevant to my work 1–5
- Presenter was clear and engaging 1–5
- Session met my expectations 1–5
- Any constructive feedback? Text box
Recording URL
Top ↑This is a link to the video recording of the session. Paste the full web address, starting with https://.
This link is shown to attendees after the session ends. Leave it empty until you have a recording to share.
Shared Documents
Top ↑Use this to share files from your computer — like a PDF, slide deck, or handout. For links to outside web pages, use Linked Resources instead.
- Click Upload file and choose a file from your computer.
- To add more, click Upload file again. You can upload as many documents as you need.
- The name of the file you upload becomes the name shown on the website, so name your files clearly before uploading.
- To remove a document, click the trash can button next to it.
Linked Resources
Top ↑Use this to add links to outside web pages — like a website or an online document. This is for links; use Shared Documents for files from your computer.
- Click Add link.
- In the Label box, type a short name for the link. This is optional.
- In the URL box, paste the full web address, starting with
https://. - Click Add link again to add another one.
Before you add anything, this area says No links yet.
Related Sessions
Top ↑Use this to connect this session to other sessions in the Convening that go together. It’s helpful when sessions are part of a series, split into multiple parts (like Part 1 and Part 2), or cover related topics an attendee would want to take together.
Linked sessions appear in the Related Sessions area of this session’s page, so attendees can jump straight to the others without searching for them.
- Start typing in the Filter sessions box to find a session by name.
- Check the box next to each session you want to link.
- Repeat to link as many related sessions as you need.
- Uncheck a box to remove that link.
Links only show on this session. They don’t appear on the sessions you link to. If you want another session to list its related sessions, add them on that session too.
